Halloween Weekend Hangover

Hello everyone it is Tuesday and I finally feel like I should be doing something and want to do it lol. This past weekend has been jammed pack full of fun activities. It actually started on Thursday with my daughters Halloween party at school.

 

 That was a lot of fun to play with 22 Preschoolers. On Friday I went to a crop and got to hang out with some really good friends of mine. I love to go to crops when I scrapbook. I get so  many neat ideas from other people that I wouldn't be able to if I was at home scraping by myself. Here are some of my layouts I was able to finish. 

We were out until Midnight on Friday. On Sat I woke early with my little girl and I headed out to Volenteer at a local Assistant Living Home. When I got home from that my sister in-law showed up to go downtown trick or treating at the local businesses and the town next to ours. On Sunday we went to brunch with my parents and my sister and baby nephew. After brunch my mom and I headed out to the mall and got my daughter some pretty clothes. After our shopping therapy we went to a Trunk or Treat at the church that holds the crops that I tend. On Monday was our hometown trick or treating. After we go door to door everyone heads out to my Aunt's house for a after party. Something my little girl looks forward to every year, and all the kids get to play. My Aunt puts on an awesome after party. I hope everyone else has had a great Halloween

October 1st

Good Morning!!! It is a cold sunny fall morning in the Southwest Michigan area. It is a great day to put on your comfy jammies and fuzzy slippers and stay under a blanket or grab a cup of coffee and head to the craft room. In our little town we have a HUGE festival every year and a parade that is 5 miles long and enough entries that is takes an 1 1/2 to 2 hrs long. Since I do have a little one and it is tradition to go to the parade with all our cousins that is what I will be heading out to do this afternoon. After that it is birthday shopping for my little since her birthday party is only a week away. After the party supplies are bought I might just head off to a craft store for a while so I can spend the rest of the night in the craft room. Last night I got to spend a couple of hours with a good friend at a crop and I actually got two pages almost done in my daughters baby book. Hope everyone has a great Saturday.

I decided to make this page for my daughters first birthday party. The theme was Disney Prinesses. I used the Disney Princesses Happily Ever After. I LOVE how this page turned out.

Birthday Invite

It is almost October and my little girl will be turning 4. It is hard to believe that she is getting to be older. Although if you ask her what she wants for her birthday she says she wants to be 2 again, a tear to my eye. lol This year for her birthday party she wants a horse themed party.  So she is getting one. My sister is making her cake which I can not wait to show you pictures of her cake. I made her birthday party invites again this year.
Her invites were really easy to make. I LOVE the fact that you can hook your Gypsy to your Imagine. I used the Create a Critter cartridge to cut out the horse and the Disney Pooh and Friends for the party hat. I used the Country Life cartridge for the number 4 and a pop up under the four. I used my glitter pens for the decorations on the hat and then a silver one for the horse tail and hooves. Then just a generic "Your Invited" Stamp I got from WalMart, and a pink ink pad I had laying around. for the back side with the party info I took pink paper and set my Imagine to just the print setting and made the horse and selected auto fill. I then put it back through to cut the square out. I typed the needed info out on the computer and fed the paper in my printer. The blue lines are for privacy reasons.  I think the invite turned out great. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Sunday.

Volunteer Scrap

I take time every month to go to a retirement community every month to put a scrapbook together for the home.  I enjoy these ladies company more then they probably enjoy mine.  A new person started to come and scrapbook with us last month and she told me she is legally blind and her hands don't work very well, to the point she can't do much.  She loves to scrapbook and I told her told that I would come visit her special once a month.  Today was our first "date" she wasn't feeling to well so I offered to come back and she said no she was looking forward to today.  We only worked for a half hr and then she needed to lay down.  Before she laid down she told me she just turned 93 years old and she LOVES to scrapbook, well she did before she couldn't see anymore.  I just love volunteering and listening to their stories and looking at their pictures and hearing the stories behind the pictures.

New Carts

Wow did everyone see the new Cartridges that Provo Craft just released? I really like both the Imagine Cartridges. I guess it is time to update my wish list for my Husband hehe. Which Cartridge was your Favorite?

Hello Thursday

Today is Hello Thursday on My Pink Stamper, and I can't wait until she puts what the new cartridges are I am SOOO super excited. You know I think my husband is starting to dread Thursdays :) Who else is excited about Hello Thursday??
